The most colorful state of India-Rajasthan is known for its glorious past, rich culture, age old traditions and a heritage to boast about.
The vast deserts, the mystic ranges, the magnificient palaces and the forts with tales to tell and vibrant colors all around .
The state of Rajasthan has lots to boast of with sand dunes and palaces, lakes and mountains to make your trip memorable.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Delhi
- Today morning you arrive at New Delhi airport and are met on arrival and transferred to your hotel.
- The capital city of New Delhi has been a favourite of many dynasties and rulers in the past lending to its culture and heritage.
- One part is Old Delhi known for its architectural wonders that brilliantly depict tales of bygone eras and the other is New Delhi which has modern infrastructure.
- Morning at leisure and evening you can visit the Qutab Minar a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Qutub ud din Aibek in 1199, the Bahai or Lotus temple( Monday closed) and the closeby ISCKON temple.
- Overnite New Delhi.
Day 02: New Delhi sightseeing
- Today morning after breakfast you leave for a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi.
- You visit the Mughal era monuments Red Fort, (Monday closed), Jama Masjid ( mosque built by Emperor Shah Jahan )and Humayuns Tomb -the prototype of the Taj Mahal at Agra.
- To reach Red Fort and drive through Jama Masjid etc you need to use an auto or cycle rickshaw which the driver will help you procure. The car is not allowed here.
- Later you also visit Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. The complex has vast expanses of greenery that include trees planted by global personalities as Queen Elizabeth 11, US President Eisenhower etc.
- Evening drive past India Gate, Parliament house, Presidents House etc.
- Evening if you wish you can enjoy some shopping
- Overnite N Delhi
DAY 03: N DELHI- AGRA SIGHTSEEING ( 225 kms -approx 3- 4 hours drive)
- Today morning after breakfast drive via the expressway to the city of the Taj Mahal- Agra.
- Arrive Agra & transfer to hotel.
- Afternoon visit the Agra Fort – this rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort stands on the banks of the river Yamuna.
- Later at sunset visit the magnificent Taj Mahal – one of the seven wonders of the world.
- Evening free to explore the Agra’s rich heritage of handicrafts in its markets.
- Overnight Agra.
Day 04: Agrato Bharatpur (59 kms approx 1 and half hours drive)
- Today after breakfast drive to Bharatpur, known for its migratory bird Siberian cranes that throng the sanctuary in winters every year in search of food and warm weather.
- The day is kept for a rickshaw ride in Bharatpur bird sanctuary where you can spot as many as 375 species of birds.
- We suggest you to do an evening safari.
- Overnite Bharatpur
Day 05: Bharatpur to Ranthambore (300 kms- 5-6 hours)
- Leave early in the morning for Ranthambore .
- Post lunch you can go for an evening safari in the wildlife sanctuary.You may get to see tiger, leopard, jackal, hyena, sloth bear, python, crocodile, cobra, Indian roller bird, Bonellis eagle, Crested hawk eagle, Great Partridge, king vulture, Golden-woodpecker.
- Return to resort and enjoy resort facilities

Day 06: Ranthambore – Jaipur ( 4 hours)
- Today you leave for Jaipur the capital city of Rajasthan and also known as the Pink city of India.
- Jaipur was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II and is famous for its handicrafts and precious and semiprecious stones.
- Upon arrival check in at the hotel, relax and later proceed to visit the City Palace in the afternoon, which is still the formal residence of the royal family.
- Also visit the museum in the City Palace that has the private collection of Jaipur Maharajas.
- Also visit Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, which is the largest of Jai Singhs five remarkable observatories.
- Overnight in the hotel.
Day 07: Jaipur
- After breakfast proceed to visit the Amber Fort, located 11 kilometers away from Jaipur.
- En-route, visit the Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds for a photo stop. Amber was the ancient capital of Kachawaha dynasty before Jai Singh founded Jaipur. Ride an elephant to reach the gates of the fort (optional).
- Visit the closeby Jaigarh Fort which is located on a mountain and provides a great view of Jaipur city and the biggest attraction here is the Jaivana Cannon.
- Later visit the Nahargarh Fort about 8-10 kms from Jaigarh Fort. This fort also offers a spectacular view of Jaipur city.
- Later return to hotel and evening at leisure or you can choose to optionally visit Chokhidhani an ethnic Rajasthani village theme restaurant
- Overnite Jaipur
Day 08: Jaipur to Mandawa (169 kms- 3 and half hours)
- After breakfast drive to Mandawa.
- On arrival check in hotel.
- Later visit the beautifully painted Havelies and surrounding areas of Mandawa. The Painted Havelies of the region are called ” The Open Air Art Galleries”.
- Overnite Mandawa
Day 09: Mandawa to Bikaner (191 kms – 4 hours )
- After breakfast drive to Bikaner (190 kms)
- On arrival check in hotel.
- Later visit Fort, Lallgarh Palace, Karni Mata Temple poularly known as the Rat Temple, Museum and The Camel Breeding Farm.
- Overnight At Bikaner.
Day 10: Bikaner to Manvar (217 kms – 3 and half hours )
- After breakfast drive to Manvar resort.Reach by lunch {1.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.}.
- After lunch you are transferred to the Camp.
- Village Safari by Jeep {approx 4.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.} It’s a drive of 1 ½ to 2 hours through Desert Landscape.
- On the way option to visit a typical desert home to see how people live in the desert, see a craftsman home, during the safari see the wildlife and finally ending at Camp/ Resort Gala Dinner with Musicians & Dancers, Camp-fire etc. {7.00 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.}
- Over night at Manvar Tented camp
Day 11: Manvar to Jaisalmer (171- 2 and half hours)
- After breakfast you leave for the Desert City of Jaywalker which is about 2 and half hours drive.
- Arrive and checkin to your hotel.
- Later leave for sightseeing covering Jaisalmer Fort which is the only fort which has people still living inside, Jain Mandir, Patwon ki Haveli and Gadisar Lake.
- Overnite Jaisalmer
Day 12: Jaisalmer- Jodhpur ( 283 kms – 5-6 hours)
- Today morning after an early breakfast visit the and proceed to Jodhpur.
- Jodhpur the second largest city in Rajasthan, also known as the blue city as most of the houses of the old city are painted blue.
- The old city is surrounded by a 10 km long wall, which has 101 bastions and seven gates.
- Arrive and checkin to your hotel and relax.
- Later proceed to visit the Jaswant Thada, a royal cenotaph built in white marble and the Umaid Bhavan Palace Museum.
- Evening free to visit the colourful bazaars of Jodhpur and enjoy shopping for some local artefacts and mememtos.

Day 13: Jodhpur
- Today after breakfast you leave for sightseeing covering the majestic Mehrangarh Fort which was built on a steep hill. The fort is among the best in India with exquisitely latticed windows in residential complexes,
- Evening at leisure to enjoy this beautiful city
- Overnite Jodhpur.
Day 14: Jodhpur to Udaipur (250 kms- 4 and half to 5 hours)
- Today after breakfast leave for Udaipur ( 6 hours drive) .
- En-route stop at Ranakpur, to visit the beautifully carved marble Jain Temples.
- Checkin to hotel and later leave for a drive around or take a boat ride and visit Bagore ki Haveli for the puppet show ( on own) and get a taste of Rajasthani Folk dances.
- Return to hotel
- Overnite Udaipur
Day 15: Udaipur
- Today after breakfast, sightseeing in the most romantic city of Rajasthan dotted with fairy-tale palaces and massive forts, Udaipur.
- Popularly named as the city of Lakes, Udaipur beckons people to savor its timeless beauty.
- Begin your sightseeing with the spectacular City Palace, Enjoy the Vintage Classic Car Collection of the Maharaja,drive past the Rana Pratap Smarak, . Visit the Shilpgram Enjoy shopping in the colourful bazaars for beautiful artefacts , jewellery and mementos.
- If you have energy left and you can make it to the Sajjangarh Fort for a view of the sunset
- Return to hotel
- Overnite Udaipur.
Day 16: Udaipur to Kumbalgarh ( 102 kms- 2 and half hours)
- Today morning after breakfast drive to Kumbalgarh and on arrival checkin to hotel.
- Later visit the famous Fort of Kumbalgarh which has the longest wall in India and a great scenic view.
- Enjoy the sound and light show
- Overnite Kumbalgarh
Day 17: Kumbalgarh to Udaipur
- Today you are driven to Udaipur airport to board your return flight back to Mumba
