Itinerary
DAY 01: JODHPUR ARRIVAL & SIGHTSEEING
Today you arrive into Jodhpur the second largest city in Rajasthan, also known as the blue city as most of the houses of the old city are painted blue.
The old city is surrounded by a 10 km long wall, which has 101 bastions and seven gates.
Arrive and checkin to your hotel and relax. Later proceed to visit the Jaswant Thada, a royal cenotaph built in white marble and the Umaid Bhavan Palace Museum.
Evening free to visit the colourful bazaars of Jodhpur and enjoy shopping for some local artefacts and mememtos.
Overnight Jodhpur.
DAY 02: JODHPUR- MANVAR ( 2 hours drive)
Today after breakfast you leave for sightseeing covering the majestic Mehrangarh Fort which was built on a steep hill.
The fort is among the best in India with exquisitely latticed windows in residential complexes.
Leave for Manvar Resort at a distance of approx 2 hours , .Reach by lunch {1.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.}.
After lunch you are transferred to the Camp. Village Safari by Jeep {approx 4.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.} It’s a drive of 1 ½ to 2 hours through Desert Landscape.
On the way option to visit a typical desert home to see how people live in the desert, see a craftsman home, during the safari see the wildlife and finally ending at Camp/ Resort Gala Dinner with Musicians & Dancers, Camp-fire etc. {7.00 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.}
Overnight at Manvar Tented camp
DAY 03: MANVAR- JODHPUR ( 2 hours )
Wake up call with tea & coffee.
Camel ride for 45 minutes ( 2 persons on a camel ) Advised to take a camel ride at sunrise.
Breakfast & checkout and you are driven to Jodhpur airport to board your return flight
