An 8 days tour combining the iconic cities of Delhi/ Agra/ Jaipur with the incredible city of Ganges Varanasi.
Itinerary
DAY ONE: Arrival N Delhi and sightseeing
- Today you are met on arrival at N Delhi airport and transferred to your hotel
- Later sightseeing covering the Qutab Minar, a UNESCO world heritage site built in the 11th century, the closeby Bahai Temple and Humayuns Tomb- the prototype of the Taj Mahal at Agra. Both these structures hold great significance in the architectural heritage of Delhi.
- Evening free for shopping at the colourful local bazaars
- Overnight N Delhi
DAY TWO: New Delhi sightseeing
- Today morning you drive past India Gate ( Warriors Memorial ), the Parliament, President’s House ( Rashtrapati Bhawan ), Mahatama Gandhi Memorial ( Rajghat) , Red Fort.
- Incase you wish to visit the bustling bazaars of Chandni Chowk and the closeby Jumma Masjid , the driver will assist you in procuring a local cycle rickshaw or auto .
- Return to hotel and evening free to visit the beautiful Lakshminarayan Temple.
- Overnight N Delhi.
DAY THREE: N DELHI- VARANASI FLIGHT & SIGHTSEEING
- Today morning after breakfast you leave for the airport to board your flight to Varanasi.
- Reach Varanasi /Benaras or Kashi one of the oldest living cities in the world, and you are met on arrival and transferred to your hotel .
- Later visit the Benaras Hindu University & drive through its campus-probably the largest residential university in Asia, visit the Bharat Kala Museum.
- Evening visit the Dashahwamedh ghat and Bharat Mata Temple. The Dashashwamedh ghat is one of the most spectacular ghats in Varanasi and close to the Vishwanath temple.
- Enjoy the evening Ganga Aarti which is a spectacular surreal experience whileon a boat and you will also see the cremation ceremonies of the dead being performed as per Hindu rites,
- Overnight Varanasi
DAY FOUR: VARANASI- SARNATH- VARANASI
- Today morning it is suggested you do the early morning sunrise boat ride on the sacred Ganga river.
- After breakfast leave for Sarnath 6 kms away. Sarnath is where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. A very sacred place , the popular attractions here are the Sarnath museum, The Dhamek stupa and Chaukhandi Stupa.
- Return to Varanasi and evening at leisure
- Overnight Varanasi
DAY FIVE: VARANASI TO N DELHI- AGRA SIGHTSEEING ( 225 kms – approx 3 – 4 hours drive)
- Today morning after breakfast you are transferred to the airport to board your flight to N Delhi.
- On arrival you are met at N Delhi airport and drive via the expressway to the city of the Taj Mahal- Agra.
- Arrive Agra & transfer to hotel.
- Afternoon visit the Agra Fort – this rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort stands on the banks of the river Yamuna.
- Later at sunset visit the magnificent Taj Mahal – one of the seven wonders of the world. Evening free to explore the Agra’s rich heritage of handicrafts in its markets.
- Overnight Agra.
DAY SIX: AGRA TO JAIPUR ( 220 kms – -approx 4 and half hours drive)
- Today morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur- the fabled “Pink City” of the desert.
- Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri-a perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost town” which was the estranged capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar.
- Arrive into Jaipur & you are transferred to your hotel.
- Evening free to visit the colourful bazaars of Jaipur
- Overnight Jaipur.
DAY SEVEN: JAIPUR
- After breakfast proceed to visit the Amber Fort, located 11 kilometers away from Jaipur.
- En-route, visit the Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds
- Amber was the ancient capital of Kachawaha dynasty before Jai Singh founded Jaipur. Ride an elephant to reach the gates of the fort ( this is an optional ride on own).
- Later visit the City Palace in the afternoon, which is still the formal residence of the royal family. Also visit the museum in the City Palace that has the private collection of Jaipur Maharajas.
- Continue to Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, which is the largest of Jai Singhs five remarkable observatories.
- Evening enjoy shopping in the many colourful bazaars of Jaipur, there are local bazaars as Bapu Bazaar and Johari Bazaar
- Overnight Jaipur.
DAY EIGHT: JAIPUR DEPARTURE
- Today morning after breakfast you are transferred to Jaipur airport to board your return flight back

- Transportation and sightseeing in a private airconditioned vehicle from 9am-8 pm as per itinenery only
- 2-3 pax in a medium car ie sedan/ 3-5 pax in a Toyota Innova/ 5 -10 pax in an AC 10seater vehicle
- An English speaking guide for one day each in N Delhi/ Agra/Jaipur/ Varanasi
- All DA/ Toll/ Parking, hotel and transport taxes and GST included
- Daily 1 bottle of mineral water per person in the vehicle

- The tour includes accommodation with a daily breakfast. Lunch and dinner is on own and you can either use the hotel restaurant or try a local eatery at the drivers recommendation
- The tour begins at N Delhi airport and ends at Jaipur airport
